Registered Agent

One registered agent, all 50 states.

Wherever your companies are formed, we can be your registered agent, with corporate compliance built in and a real team behind it. One account, every state.

In short Every state requires your company to keep a registered agent, a real person available in that state to accept legal and government documents. We serve as that agent in any state, and we pair it with active corporate compliance instead of the bare minimum. One account, one team, wherever your companies are formed.

What a registered agent does, in every state

Every state that recognizes LLCs and corporations requires each one to continuously maintain a registered agent (sometimes called an agent for service of process or statutory agent) with a physical address in that state and a person available during business hours. That agent receives lawsuits, subpoenas, and official notices on the company’s behalf. Fall out of good standing on that requirement and your company can be penalized or administratively dissolved, and if you miss a service of process, you can lose a case by default. We take that off your plate in whichever states you operate.

Why put every company under one agent

If you own companies in more than one state, or expect to expand, a patchwork of separate local agents means separate logins, separate bills, separate renewal dates, and no single person who knows your business. We consolidate all of it: one account, one point of contact, one team tracking every filing deadline across every state you’re in. Add a new entity in a new state and it’s simply added to the same account.

What you get, in any state

  • A registered agent with a real, compliant presence in the state
  • Same-day handling and digital forwarding of every legal and state document
  • Unlimited digital mail forwarding
  • Filing-deadline reminders, and, on higher tiers, we file for you
  • One account and one team across all of your states

White-glove, not a mailbox

Most national registered-agent services are exactly what the statute requires and nothing more: an address that receives your mail and then bills you to forward it, with a support ticket if you’re lucky. We built the opposite, a real, staffed office, active compliance management, and a person who answers. And because we work in tandem with the independent law firm Tresp, Day & Associates, Inc., if a matter turns legal, real attorneys are a step away. Corporate services from us; legal strategy from them.

Popular states

Wyoming and California are two of our most-requested jurisdictions, and each has a dedicated page, but we can serve as your registered agent anywhere:

Common questions

Frequently asked

Can Tresp Corporate Services be my registered agent in any state?

Yes. We provide registered agent service nationwide, in all 50 states, and can serve as the agent for LLCs and corporations in any state, all under one account with the same white-glove service and corporate compliance support.

What's the advantage of using one agent across multiple states?

Consolidation. Instead of separate agents, logins, bills, and renewal dates in each state, you get one account, one point of contact, and one team tracking every filing deadline across all of your states. Adding a company in a new state just adds it to the same account.

How much does nationwide registered agent service cost?

It starts at $21/month for registered agent plus corporate compliance, nationwide registered agent service, unlimited digital mail forwarding, and filing-deadline reminders. Higher tiers add concierge filing ($37/month) and full governance support with document review and drafted minutes and resolutions ($51/month).

Do you handle the filings, or just receive mail?

Both are available. Every plan includes receiving and forwarding your documents and reminding you of deadlines. On the Concierge tier and above, we actually submit your required state filings for you, the opposite of a mailbox that only forwards your mail and charges for the privilege.

Can you help if a legal issue comes up?

Tresp Corporate Services provides corporate, registered-agent, and compliance services and does not give legal advice. For legal matters, we work in tandem with the independent law firm Tresp, Day & Associates, Inc., so experienced attorneys are available when a matter requires them.
