Keep your own address off the public record.

$100 a year puts our Kemmerer address and your own suite number on your Articles and your Secretary of State listing, instead of yours. It is not registered agent service.

Direct answer Public record address service puts a Tresp Corporate Services address and suite number on your Articles of Incorporation and on the Wyoming Secretary of State website as the principal office of your business, so your own address is not the one listed publicly. It costs $100.00 per year. Without it, the address you provide is the address that appears on the public record. This service does not include registered agent service, and it is not a substitute for it. To add it to a formation or an existing entity, contact our office.

What this provides

With this service we provide you with an address and suite number in our offices that will be used on the Articles of Incorporation and be listed on the Wyoming Secretary of State website as the principal office of the business. Without this service, your address will be listed.

Public record address service

$100/year

Applied to your Articles and your Secretary of State record. Arranged through our office, not as a self-serve checkout.

Who this is for

Anyone who does not want their home address permanently searchable on a state website. That is most people who form a company from home, and it is a perfectly ordinary reason to use the service, the Secretary of State record is public, permanent, indexed by search engines, and scraped by data brokers within days.

What this is not

This is not registered agent service

Public record address service changes the principal office address that appears on the public state record. It does not include registered agent service, and it is not a substitute for registered agent service. It does not receive service of process, lawsuits, subpoenas, or Secretary of State notices. Every Wyoming company is still required to maintain a registered agent of record with a physical Wyoming address and a live person available during business hours. If you need that, see Wyoming registered agent.

Be clear about the limits

This service changes what address appears on the public state record. It does not make your ownership of the company secret, and it is not a substitute for legal privacy planning. Banks, the IRS, and any court with jurisdiction will still require and receive accurate information about who actually owns and controls the entity. Anyone marketing an address service as anonymity is misleading you.

If genuine ownership privacy is the goal, that is a legal structuring question, see privacy companies at the independent firm Tresp, Day & Associates, Inc.

Do I also need mail forwarding?

They are separate. This service governs what appears on the public record. If you also need an address that receives your company’s physical mail and forwards it to you, add mail forwarding. Those packages include this service, so you do not pay for it twice.

Want this on your Articles?

Contact our office. If you are forming now, we can put it on the Articles so no amendment is needed later. If the company already exists, we will tell you what filing is required.

Common questions

Frequently asked

Does this include registered agent service?

No. Public record address service is not registered agent service and is not a substitute for it. It only changes the principal office address on the public state record. It does not receive service of process, lawsuits, or Secretary of State notices. Wyoming still requires a registered agent with a physical address in the state who can accept those documents during business hours. See Wyoming registered agent.

How do I add public record address service?

This add-on is not sold as a self-serve checkout. Contact our office and we will add it to your formation or existing entity. It is $100.00 per year. It is also included in the mail forwarding packages, so clients who order mail forwarding do not pay for it separately.
