The statute is not about forwarding Amazon boxes. It is about the document that starts a lawsuit, and the clock that starts when someone hands it over.

What "accepted" has to mean

In a staffed office, a person takes the document, logs it, and gets it to the client the same day. In a mail drop, the document sits until a scan job runs, or until someone notices, or until it is sitting behind a stack of junk mail addressed to forty other companies that share the suite.
